Ab Belts - Answering Your Quesions
A question that I get asked a lot is whether you should use an ab belt. What I usually answer is that it depends on what results you are looking for. Let me explain… An ab belt creates small electrical pulses which cause your abdominal muscles to contract, in a similar way to doing crunches. BUT it’s not a simple as that. you don’t simply get a full workout by wearing an ab belt.
The electrical impulses don’t work the ab muscles as hard as you would get from doing physical exercise. So, if you are looking to tighten your ab muscles and don’t have time to workout properly then an ab belt is fine. But if you are looking for a ripped six pack, then you really need to workout properly as an ab belt won’t grown your abs to the point where they are clearly visible.

Supplements To Get Ripped Abs?
A strange headline, I know… But it’s another question that I get asked a lot. “Can a certain supplement get me ripped or shredded abs?” or “This supplement claims to burn 2lbs of fat a day…”. Well we should all know that companies will make claims just to sell their products. It is certainly true in the fitness industry. While there are many benefits of sports supplements and plenty of supplements that can help you to get ripped abs, burn fat or build muscle. They are not a magic pill and won’t do much if you don’t have a good exercise routine and diet in place.
It should also be noted that there are many types of supplements around. I see so many people using supplements that they don’t need to be using yet. For example, people using creatine when that have only been to the gym once. Or people using protein powder but taking it before their workout. Some supplements can even be risky for certain types of people. These sorts of thing do not make sense and is exactly the reason why a personal fitness instructor is recommended.
